Frosty sunrise

A winter sun rises over the bluffs to shine through the cottonwoods on the Chuitna River, near the proposed Chuitna Coal Mine.
— The first few hours of the day found us buried in the depths of the Chuitna valley, until the low winter sun finally crested the bluffs.
