— Yakutat Coastal Airlines deposits a survey team into Icy Bay to look for evidence of tsunami run-up. In October 2015, a massive landslide generated tsunami swept through much of Icy Bay. The highest watermark was in excess of 600 feet. However, in this area, further down the fjord, the tsunami only reached a few feet high.
