— A glacier and a mountain conspire to create a tsunami that reshapes the landscape. The glacier undercut and steepened the mountain, then retreated to leave it unsupported. The mountain fell, 150 million tons of rock shooting down into the fjord at the front of the glacier. The fjord, displaced by that landslide surged uphill as a tsunami, reaching the point where this photo was taken from - about 600 feet above the water.
