— Dr. Dan Shugar and Dr. Jeremy Venditti were two PHD researchers on the third Icy Bay expedition - summer 2016. Their aim was to survey and map the shallow water in Taan Fjord with a remote control boat, which was equipped with multibeam echo sounder technology. This small RC craft allowed the researchers to map in very shallow water.
