— Habitat: Rocks. Extreme low intertidal under overhangs and cracks, or subtidal. Found on White Rock beach, summer 2016.
Description: Large solitary species. Entirely covered in spine-like bristles. Each bristle has many short bristles branching off along its length. Sometimes covered in other organisms.
Notes: These are easily identifiable, and do not resemble any other local species. They are rare in the intertidal zone, so I have not collected any.
