— Habitat: Rocks. Extreme low intertidal.
Description: Solitary species, surface covered by hard geometric plates.
Notes: C. columbianum is the only other one with plates, and it has intermediate plates between the central ones and the edge, and is smaller. ID seems certain, but this species is rare in the intertidal and I have not collected a sample.
